Acceptable Use Policy

Requirements for lawful, fair and secure use of HireValid by customers, users and candidates.

Last updated: 1 अक्टूबर 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Scope

HireValid is operated by Recordskeeper Inc, a Delaware C-Corp. Our business mailing address is 2261 Market Street STE 86483, San Francisco, CA 94114. This policy applies to the website, accounts, assessments and associated communications. It forms part of the Terms of Service. Customers must ensure that their authorized users and assessment instructions comply.

2. Lawful and relevant hiring

Use assessments for legitimate, job-related purposes. Do not discriminate unlawfully, retaliate against candidates exercising their rights, evade accommodation duties or use results as medical diagnoses. Do not use integrity signals as sole proof of dishonesty or make consequential decisions without appropriate human review.

3. Privacy and permissions

Provide required notices and obtain necessary consent before monitoring or processing sensitive information. Do not upload data you lack authority to use, publish candidate records, impersonate another person or collect credentials through invitations. Limit exports and sharing to authorized recipients for the stated hiring purpose.

4. Platform and content security

Do not bypass access controls, deploy malware, disrupt availability, probe other users’ data, evade usage limits or attempt unauthorized extraction of secure assessment questions. Do not resell access without permission or infringe intellectual property. Automated access to public website content must respect security and service availability; open crawler access does not authorize access to private accounts or item banks.

5. Candidate conduct

Follow the employer’s stated assessment rules, including permitted AI assistance and reference materials. Do not impersonate another candidate, obtain confidential questions or misrepresent someone else’s work as your own. If instructions conflict with an accommodation or are unclear, ask the employer before proceeding.

6. Reporting and enforcement

Report suspected abuse to [email protected], or security vulnerabilities to [email protected]. We may investigate, remove unlawful content, limit access or suspend an account proportionately to the risk. We will provide an explanation and opportunity to respond where appropriate, except where doing so would prejudice security, legal obligations or an investigation. Contact support to contest an enforcement action.
