Test integrity signals for review

Each candidate receives a different set of questions from large question pools. Questions appear in a different order for each attempt, and answer options are shuffled. The browser receives one question at a time, while answer keys stay on HireValid’s servers. Timing runs on the server, so reloading restores the same question with only the remaining time, and candidates cannot go back to earlier questions. Question text cannot be copied or selected, and a blocked copy attempt is recorded in the timeline. HireValid summarizes signals such as time away from the test tab, pastes into answers and answers faster than a question can be read in an Integrity Score and evidence timeline. An employer reviews those signals; they do not decide on their own. With candidate consent, an employer can add webcam photos at random moments.

Use the score as one piece of evidence

Review the CEFR-aligned estimate alongside a work sample and a structured interview. The test covers reading and listening as well as grammar, vocabulary and sentence building, but it does not test speaking or writing. If either matters for the role, assess it directly with a job-relevant sample. For customer-facing Polish needs, consider the Customer Support Agent role guide; for office-facing work, see the Receptionist role guide. You can also compare the format with English Proficiency. Do not use the score alone to decide; discuss the evidence with the candidate and relate it to the role’s actual Polish tasks.

Vragen voor gestructureerde sollicitatiegesprekken

  1. Tell me how you would respond in Polish to a customer who says the information they received is unclear.

Listen for a clear, polite response and a relevant follow-up question.

  2. Describe how you would check that a short Polish message is clear before sending it to a customer.

Listen for attention to sentence construction, word choice and the reader’s needs.

  3. How would you handle a Polish workplace message when one detail is ambiguous?

Listen for a practical way to clarify the meaning rather than guess.

Fairness and accommodations

Questions are in standard contemporary Polish and use workplace situations, avoiding regional forms, slang, idioms, holidays, sports, currency and local knowledge, and avoiding usage points where dictionaries accept more than one form. Names come from many backgrounds and genders. Recordings use clear, standard pronunciation at a moderate pace. The level is a CEFR-aligned estimate from a short test, not a formal qualification, and speaking and writing are not tested.

You can give any candidate extra time as an accommodation. Results are evidence for a person to review, never an automatic decision.

Provisional: reliability is reported once 200 candidates have completed it, and the level cut scores are set against the norming panel's results.
