AI Transparency Statement
How to interpret AI-assisted hiring tools and the responsibilities that accompany their use.
Last updated: 1. Oktober 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Purpose and scope
HireValid is operated by Recordskeeper Inc, a Delaware C-Corp. Our business mailing address is 2261 Market Street STE 86483, San Francisco, CA 94114. HireValid addresses hiring challenges created by AI-assisted applications and assessments. AI resistance means reducing opportunities for misuse and supplying evidence for review; it does not mean that AI assistance can always be detected or prevented.
2. AI-assisted functions
Depending on the feature enabled, AI may assist with drafting questions, rubric-based evaluation, explanations or summaries. Product-specific documentation and account settings should identify the function and its inputs. Website examples demonstrate concepts and are not a validated evaluation of a real candidate. AI-assisted editorial content follows our Editorial Policy.
3. Human responsibility
Employers remain accountable for assessment selection, job relevance, accommodations and hiring decisions. A qualified reviewer should inspect underlying evidence, consider the candidate’s explanation and correct errors before relying on an output. Do not treat generated summaries, rankings or integrity flags as instructions to reject a candidate automatically.
4. Limits and fairness
AI output can be inaccurate, inconsistent or affected by language, context and training-data limitations. AI-text detection is not reliable proof of authorship. Review whether a tool disadvantages a group or measures something unrelated to the role. Published examples do not establish independently validated norms, reliability or legal compliance.
5. Data and model use
Processing must follow the applicable privacy notice, customer instructions and provider terms. Candidate records must not be repurposed for unrelated model training without a separate lawful basis, appropriate agreement and required notice or consent. Customers should obtain deployment-specific information on model providers, retention and safeguards before sending sensitive data.
6. Questions, review and regulation
Ask the employer for an explanation or human review of an assessment outcome; contact [email protected] to report a technical issue. Include the assessment reference and relevant context without unnecessary personal information. Applicable automated-decision and employment laws may impose additional notices, assessments or restrictions. This statement does not claim certification or regulatory approval.
