What you get for each candidate
- Stayed on the test tab throughout
- No pasted answers
- Answered at a steady pace
Scores, profiles and integrity signals are evidence for you to review alongside an interview, never an automatic decision.
Test conditions and integrity signals
Each candidate gets a different set of questions from large pools. Questions appear in a different order for each attempt, and the answer options are shuffled. The browser shows one question at a time. Candidates have 10 minutes and cannot go back to earlier questions. Reloading returns the same question with only the remaining time. Question text cannot be copied or selected, and a blocked copy attempt is recorded. HireValid records signals such as time away from the test tab, pastes into answers and answers faster than a question can be read. These are summarized in an Integrity Score and evidence timeline for employer review, not an automatic decision. See How we build our tests.

Treat the score as evidence to review
Use the score to decide what to explore next, not on its own. Pair it with a work sample, such as asking the candidate to prepare and give a short presentation, and a structured interview with the same job-related prompts for each candidate. Review the sample for clear visuals, a well-built message, engaging delivery and response to change. Fairness and accommodations
Every scenario states the audience, the goal and the constraints it turns on, so no company's habits or particular presentation software is needed. Responses are alike in length and tone, nothing turns on one culture's customs for eye contact, gesture or formality, and presenters and audiences have names from many backgrounds.
You can give any candidate extra time as an accommodation. Results are evidence for a person to review, never an automatic decision.
Provisional: reliability is reported once 200 candidates have completed it.
