The short answer
The Transport Coordinator test is a 10-minute set of 15 multiple-choice workplace problems for intermediate transport coordinators and planners, logistics coordinators, dispatchers, receiving planners, distribution supervisors, and supply chain staff. It measures practical load planning, inbound and outbound transport decisions, and carrier management using scenarios with loads, schedules, rates, and carrier results.
What it measures
Practical transport coordination: load planning, inbound and outbound transport decisions, and carrier management.
Load planning
Candidates decide how freight fits onto trailers while considering the details and rules given.
Inbound transport
Candidates schedule and check incoming deliveries against the information provided.
Outbound transport
Candidates plan dispatches and routes using the stated transport details.
Carrier and logistics provider management
Candidates choose and manage carriers by considering rates and carrier results.
Question formats
Multiple choice
The candidate: Reads a short situation, table or statement and picks the right answer, or every right answer.
You see: Whether the candidate knows the material well enough to apply it, not just recognize it.
15 questions in 10 minutes, served one at a time.
Roles this test fits
Transport coordinators and planners, logistics coordinators, dispatchers, receiving planners, distribution supervisors and supply chain staff who arrange and track freight.
What this test can show
Decisions in context
Tables of loads, schedules, rates, or carrier results show how candidates weigh cost, service, and the rules stated in each question.
A common set of stated rules
Questions state any relevant driver-hours limit, dock rule, or carrier agreement, rather than relying on a country's regulations or a company's habits.
Schedules that read the same everywhere
Times use the 24-hour clock and dates spell out the month, so inbound and outbound schedule questions do not depend on one country’s date format.

How the test handles AI and answer sharing
Each candidate receives a different set of questions from large question pools, in a different order, with answer options shuffled. The browser shows one question at a time, and answer keys stay on HireValid’s servers. The 10-minute timer runs on the server; reloading restores the same question with only the time left, and candidates cannot go back. Question text cannot be copied or selected, and a blocked copy attempt is recorded in the timeline. HireValid records signals such as time away from the test tab, pastes into answers, and answers faster than a question can be read. It summarizes these in an Integrity Score with an evidence timeline for employer review. With the candidate’s consent, an employer can add webcam photos at random moments.

Use the score as evidence
Review the score alongside a work sample involving freight tables, dispatch choices, or carrier results, and a structured interview. Use the same job-related questions with each candidate. The score is evidence for a person to review, not a decision on its own. For related hiring needs, compare the Business Operations Management test or Process Improvement test. Fairness and accommodations
Every rule a question depends on, such as a driver's hours limit, a dock rule or a carrier agreement, is stated in the question, so no country's regulations or a particular company's habits are assumed. Questions use metric units, costs as plain numbers with no currency symbol, times on the 24-hour clock, dates with the month as a word, and names from many backgrounds. A calculator and scratch paper are available to every candidate, and the reading level is kept plain so the test measures transport judgment rather than reading speed.
You can give any candidate extra time as an accommodation. Results are evidence for a person to review, never an automatic decision.
Provisional: reliability is reported once 200 candidates have completed it.
