This policy covers cookies, local storage and similar technologies on the HireValid marketing website. The separate employer application may provide additional information about its necessary session and account technologies.

2. Essential preferences

The hv-consent local-storage record stores your analytics and marketing choices and their timestamp; the site recognizes that choice for up to 180 days. The hv-locale cookie remembers your selected language for up to one year. Session storage may remember a dismissed announcement for the current browser session. The hv-currency session-storage preference remembers a currency you choose manually for the current browser session. Country-based pricing uses a server-side country lookup when configured. These preferences help the site honor your choices without requiring an account.

3. Analytics

With analytics consent, configured tools such as Google Analytics or PostHog can measure page visits and interactions. Depending on the enabled provider, technical identifiers, device information and event data may be processed. A provider is not active merely because the website supports an integration. We do not intentionally include contact-form message bodies or candidate answers in analytics events.

4. Marketing and attribution

With marketing consent, hv-attribution and its expiry record retain campaign parameters for up to 30 days. These may include UTM values and advertising click identifiers. Configured advertising tools may use their own cookies, including Meta identifiers such as _fbc and _fbp. Campaign parameters may be passed to signup to connect a visit with its source. Declining marketing prevents this optional attribution path.

5. Manage your choice

Withdrawing consent stops subsequent optional tracking on this site; it does not retrieve data already sent to a provider.
