The short answer
The account management test is a 10-minute situational judgment test for intermediate roles that look after existing business clients. Candidates choose the best response to short workplace scenarios. It measures how they understand a client's situation, pursue fitting growth, forecast revenue honestly and add value beyond the sale.
What it measures
Judgment in account management: knowing the client, growing the account, forecasting revenue and adding value.
Knowing the Client
Candidates read the client's situation and use its details to choose a response.
Growth Opportunities
Candidates consider whether account growth fits the client's situation.
Revenue Forecasting
Candidates judge how to forecast revenue honestly from the scenario details.
Adding Value
Candidates consider how to be useful to a business client beyond the sale.

10 questions in 10 minutes, served one at a time.
Roles this test fits
Roles that look after existing business clients: account managers and key account managers, client success and relationship managers, business development and sales staff who keep and grow accounts, and product managers who work closely with major clients.
What this test adds to your hiring process
Honest forecasting, tested
Revenue forecasting scenarios show whether a candidate reports what the facts support rather than what a target wants to hear.
Growth that fits the client
Scenarios separate pushing for more revenue from expansion the client actually needs, a difference a resume rarely shows.
Credit for good second choices
The second-best response earns partial credit, so the score reflects how close a candidate's judgment is, not only whether they found the best answer.

Scores, profiles and integrity signals are evidence for you to review alongside an interview, never an automatic decision.
How the test is delivered
Each candidate gets a different set of questions from large question pools. Questions appear in a different order for each attempt, and answer options are shuffled. Each scenario turns on the facts it states, and the responses are alike in length and tone, so the details on the screen decide the best one. The browser receives one question at a time, and answer keys stay on HireValid's servers. Timing runs on the server; reloading returns the same question with only the remaining time, and candidates cannot go back. Question text cannot be copied or selected, and a blocked copy attempt is recorded. Each invitation link is personal and expires. HireValid records signals such as time away from the test tab, pastes into answers and answers faster than a question can be read. An Integrity Score and evidence timeline summarize these signals for employer review; they never decide on their own. With candidate consent, an employer can add webcam photos at random moments.

Use the score as evidence
Review the score alongside a relevant work sample and a structured interview. For example, ask the candidate to explain an account decision in a work scenario, then use follow-up questions to explore their reasoning. The test score is evidence for a person to review, not a pass mark or a decision on its own. Compare it with other relevant evidence, such as Business Judgment, Negotiation or Active Listening, when those skills matter to the role.

Fairness and accommodations
Every scenario states the facts it turns on, so no company's sales process, industry jargon or local business custom is needed, and figures are given as counts and percentages rather than in any currency. The responses are alike in length and tone, and clients and colleagues have names from many backgrounds, with no one drawn from a stereotype.
You can give any candidate extra time as an accommodation. Results are evidence for a person to review, never an automatic decision.
Provisional: reliability is reported once 200 candidates have completed it.
