简短回答

The Values and Culture Add test is a 10-minute profile of 40 work statements. It shows how a candidate prefers to work, alone or with others, by plan or improvising, with new or proven methods, and with candor or tact, set beside your company values.

What it describes

A profile, not a grade: no trait end is better than the other.

Shared versus independent work

Lower: Prefers to own tasks from start to finish, decide alone and check in when there is something to share.

Higher: Prefers shared effort: working alongside others, deciding as a group and checking in often.

Structure versus flexibility

Lower: Prefers loose plans, shifting priorities and room to improvise as work unfolds.

Higher: Prefers clear plans, defined steps and predictable routines agreed before work begins.

New methods versus proven methods

Lower: Prefers refining methods that already work and delivering dependable results from them.

Higher: Prefers trying new methods, experimenting and changing how work gets done.

Candor versus tact

Lower: Prefers raising disagreement with care, often one to one, keeping working relationships smooth.

Higher: Prefers saying disagreement and feedback plainly and openly, even in a group.

Roles this test fits

Any role at any level, as one input next to interviews and skills tests when a team wants to understand shared values and the fresh perspectives a candidate may add.

What this profile can add to hiring

  1. Set beside your stated values

Read against the values your company records: where a candidate shares your view and where they would add something new.

  2. Everyday work choices

Statements describe practical choices, such as owning a task end to end or deciding as a group, never private life.

  3. No better end

Both ends of each value are healthy preferences; neither is the right answer.

How the profile supports review

Each candidate gets different statements from large pools, in a different order, one at a time, with no going back. Timing runs on the server. Blocked copies, time away from the tab and pastes go into an Integrity Score with an evidence timeline that never decides on its own. There are no right answers to look up.

Use the profile as evidence, not a verdict

A profile, not a grade: read it beside your values, then explore it with a work sample and a structured interview, never deciding on it alone. See the pre-employment testing guide, Emotional Intelligence and DISC Work Style, or roles such as Customer Support Agent.

Structured interview questions to explore the profile

  1. Tell me about a task you shared with others. How did you split the work?

Listen for their own part in sharing work and decisions.

  2. A priority changes mid-plan. How do you decide what to do next?

Listen for how they weigh the plan against new information.

  3. You disagree with a teammate’s feedback. How do you raise it?

Listen for how plainly or carefully they raise it, and why.

Fairness and accommodations

There are no right or wrong answers: both ends of every value are described as healthy ways to work, and statements toward each end are written as positive preferences so neither end reads as better. Statements are about everyday work in plain words, with nothing about private life, religion, politics, family or customs tied to one culture, and the result is a profile to discuss, never a pass or fail.

You can give any candidate extra time as an accommodation. Results are evidence for a person to review, never an automatic decision.

Provisional: reliability is reported once 200 candidates have completed it. The profile reflects how candidates describe their own preferences at the time they take it.
