Test integrity features

Each candidate receives a different question set, with questions and answer options in a different order. The browser shows one question at a time, and answer keys stay on HireValid’s servers. The 10-minute timer runs on the server; reloading restores the same question with only the time left. Candidates cannot return to an earlier question. Question text cannot be copied or selected, and a blocked copy attempt is recorded in the timeline. Personal invitation links expire, and a completed test cannot be taken again. HireValid records signals such as time away from the test tab and summarizes them in an Integrity Score with an evidence timeline for the employer to review. It does not decide on its own. With candidate consent, an employer can add webcam photos at random moments.

Use the score as evidence

Review the score as one signal, not a hiring decision. Pair it with a work sample in which the candidate clarifies a business need, drafts a testable requirement, or responds to a proposed change. Use a structured interview to explore their reasoning and the context behind their choices. For related hiring needs, see the Product Owner and Project Management tests. 结构化面试问题

  1. A stakeholder asks for a new feature but describes the problem vaguely. How would you clarify the need?

Listen for focused questions, attention to the stakeholder’s goal, and a clear way to confirm what is needed.

  2. Tell me how you would make a requirement clear and testable for a development team.

Listen for specific expected behavior and a way to check whether the finished work meets the requirement.

  3. A requested change affects a requirement already in progress. How would you assess and manage it?

Listen for consideration of priority, affected requirements, and how the change would be traced and communicated.

Fairness and accommodations

Scenarios use general business settings such as ordering, scheduling, support and inventory, with no money symbols, idioms or knowledge of one country's laws or customs. Methods are described in plain words rather than by the names of particular tools or published frameworks, stakeholder names come from many backgrounds, and the reading level is kept to what the role needs.

You can give any candidate extra time as an accommodation. Results are evidence for a person to review, never an automatic decision.

Provisional: reliability is reported once 200 candidates have completed it.
