测量内容
Judgment in workplace communication: writing, speaking, working with others and listening.
Written communication
Candidates choose a response to a workplace scenario about writing a message.
Spoken communication
Scenarios ask candidates to judge how to speak in calls and meetings.
与他人协作
Candidates consider how to handle tricky conversations with colleagues.
Listening and reading cues
Candidates interpret what others mean from the information and cues described in a scenario.
Question formats
Judgment scenarios
The candidate: Reads a realistic workplace situation and chooses how to respond.
You see: How the candidate weighs customers, colleagues, rules and deadlines when there is no perfect option.
10 questions in 10 minutes, served one at a time.
Roles this test fits
Office, team and client-facing roles at any level where people share information, give updates, raise problems and work with colleagues: administration, coordination, sales, support, operations and team leads.
What the scenarios can show
Checking meaning, not guessing it
Body language is described in words, and the best responses check what someone means rather than assume it, so you see whether a candidate asks before acting on a guess.
Fair, stated scenarios
Each scenario gives the facts needed to choose a response, without relying on a company's habits or local customs.
Balanced response options
The four choices are alike in length and tone, so a candidate's decision turns on the scenario details.
Partial credit for close judgment
The second-best response earns partial credit, recognizing a considered choice that is not the strongest one.
What you get for each candidate
- Stayed on the test tab throughout
- No pasted answers
- Answered at a steady pace
Scores, profiles and integrity signals are evidence for you to review alongside an interview, never an automatic decision.
How the test supports a trustworthy attempt
Candidates receive different questions from large pools, in a different order each time, and answer options are shuffled. The browser shows one question at a time; answer keys stay on HireValid’s servers. The 10-minute timer runs on the server, and reloading restores the same question with only the time left. Candidates cannot go back. With consent, an employer can add webcam photos at random moments. HireValid records signals such as time away from the test tab, pastes into answers, or answers faster than a question can be read. An Integrity Score and evidence timeline summarize these signals for employer review; they do not make a decision. Read how we build our tests for more.

Use the score as one piece of evidence
Review the score alongside a job-relevant work sample and a structured interview. For an Office Administrator, the work sample might involve a role-relevant message; for a Customer Support Agent, it might involve a customer communication task. Keep the same interview questions and evaluation approach for candidates. Do not use this score alone to decide who advances. The candidate-friendly hiring guide offers more context for a fair process.

Fairness and accommodations
Every scenario states the facts the best response depends on, so no company's habits or local custom are needed, and the four responses are alike in length and tone. Body language is described in words and never read by one culture's rules: the best responses check what someone means rather than assume it. Names, roles and ages vary, and the reading level suits everyday office work.
You can give any candidate extra time as an accommodation. Results are evidence for a person to review, never an automatic decision.
Provisional: reliability is reported once 200 candidates have completed it.
